How much does it cost to become a VIP and enroll in IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards?
There is no charge to become an IdleAir VIP member. There is no charge to enroll in the IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards Program. Become an IdleAir VIP after May 1, 2012, and you’ll earn 100 Convoy Points™!
How do I enroll in IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards?
By purchasing IdleAir products and services and agreeing to the IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards Program User Agreement, you are automatically enrolled in the IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards Program and earning Convoy Points™ from those purchases. IdleAir customers should provide their phone number and email address, which will enroll them as IdleAir VIP members. Only IdleAir VIP customers can redeem the Convoy Points™ they earned.
Does IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards replace the VIP program?
No, the IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards Program is an additional benefit for becoming an IdleAir VIP. IdleAir VIP members do not need to participate in the VIP Driver Rewards Program by redeeming their Convoy Points™, but they will automatically earn Convoy Points™ just by purchasing IdleAir products and services.
Who can earn Convoy Points™?
All customers who purchase any IdleAir product or service will automatically earn Convoy Points™. Customers must swipe their member card at the beginning of their visit in order to earn Convoy Points™ on their account. Only VIP members will be able to redeem Convoy Points™.
Who can redeem Convoy Points™?
Only VIP customers can redeem Convoy Points™. IdleAir VIP membership will remain free and open to all IdleAir customers who provide their phone number and email address.
Part 2: Earning Convoy Points™
How do I earn Convoy Points™?
IdleAir customers earn Convoy Points™ by purchasing IdleAir products and services. Customers must swipe their member card at the beginning of each visit to ensure that the Convoy Points™ are added to their account. Customers paying with a fuel card should swipe the fuel card first, and then follow instructions on the touch-screen for swiping their member card, too.
Do I need my member card to earn Convoy Points™?
Yes. To earn Convoy Points™ on your account, you must swipe your member card at the beginning of your visit. Without swiping your member card first, IdleAir has no way of knowing who is using the fuel card, and who should earn the Convoy Points™ for that visit.
When did I start earning Convoy Points™?
IdleAir launched the IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards Program by retroactively crediting customers for using IdleAir since August 1, 2010, when IdleAir restarted under Convoy Solutions, LLC.
How did I earn Convoy Points™ between August 1, 2010 and April 30, 2012?
Between August 1, 2010 and April 30, 2012, IdleAir customers earned Convoy Points™ by purchasing IdleAir Premium Service:

VIP customers who earned fewer than 100 Convoy Points™ during this period will automatically receive a beginning balance of 100 Convoy Points™. All IdleAir VIP customers will have at least 100 Convoy Points™ to begin the IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards Program.
How many Convoy Points™ am I earning now?
Beginning May 1, 2012, IdleAir customers are earning Convoy Points™ by purchasing these IdleAir products and services:

Yes. IdleAir will offer opportunities to earn additional Convoy Points™. For example, IdleAir customers may be able to receive additional Convoy Points™ for visiting new IdleAir locations, and for continuous stays that exceed 8 hours. Are Convoy Points™ additive?
Yes! For example, if you become an IdleAir VIP, purchase 8 hours of Premium Service, and purchase a 24-hour IdleAir Broadband package (valued at $4.25 plus tax), you will earn a total of 112.25 Convoy Points™, as follows:
• 100.00 Convoy Points™ for becoming an IdleAir VIP
• 8.00 Convoy Points™, one for each hour of your visit
• 4.25 Convoy Points™ for purchasing a $4.25 IdleAir Broadband package
Do I earn Convoy Points™ for referring new customers?
Yes! You earn 500 Convoy Points™ for each qualified new customer you refer to IdleAir. Simply pick up IdleAir referral cards from any IdleAir location, write in your IdleAir member number, and then share them with friends. If your friend becomes a new IdleAir customer and spends at least $5.00 at IdleAir within the first 6 months of signing up, you will receive 500 Convoy Points™ for referring a qualified new customer. Convoy Points™ earned from customer referrals can take up to 90 days to appear in your Convoy Points™ balance.
Can I use $10 referral cards for Convoy Points™?
Yes! Some customers may have received IdleAir customer referral cards offering a $10 IdleAir products and services credit for referring a qualified new customer. If you gave one of these cards to a friend who becomes a new IdleAir customer and spends at least $5.00 at IdleAir within the first 6 months of signing up, you can choose to receive either 500 Convoy Points™ or a $10.00 IdleAir products and services credit. The $10.00 IdleAir referral credit option is valid through December 31, 2012. If you previously received a $10.00 IdleAir products and services credit for a qualified new customer referral, it is not possible to exchange that credit for 500 Convoy Points™.
Are my fractional Convoy Points™ rounded off?
No. You don’t lose any fractional Convoy Points™ due to rounding. Your Convoy Points™ are earned, used, and reported to 1/100th (2 decimal places) of a Convoy Point™.
Do I still earn Convoy Points™ when IdleAir Premium Service is discounted?
IdleAir frequently discounts Premium Service at newly opened locations, during some holidays, and for special events. IdleAir customers continue to earn the same number of Convoy Points™ per hour of Premium Service, as long as Premium Service is purchased and billed to your account.
Do I still earn Convoy Points™ when IdleAir Premium Service is free?
No. Customers only earn Convoy Points™ for purchased IdleAir service, which is billed to your account.
I’m an owner-operator and my company offers me a discount on IdleAir. Do I still earn the same number of Convoy Points™?
Yes! IdleAir customers continue to earn the same number of Convoy Points™ per hour of Premium Service, as long as Premium Service is purchased and billed to your account.
I’m a company driver and my company pays for my IdleAir. Do I still earn the same number of Convoy Points™?
Yes! IdleAir company driver customers continue to earn the same number of Convoy Points™ per hour of Premium Service, as long as Premium Service is purchased and billed to the company’s account.
Do I earn the same number of Convoy Points™ during my extended stay?
Yes! IdleAir customers continue to earn the same number of Convoy Points™ per hour of Premium Service, no matter whether it’s the 1st hour of their visit, or the 34th hour.
Do I earn Convoy Points™ if there is a network interruption during my visit?
Almost all IdleAir visits are billed without interruption, even if the IdleAir network experiences an interruption. Since Convoy Points™ are earned by purchasing Premium Service, your Convoy Points™ earnings will be correct when you are billed correctly.
Do I continue to earn Convoy Points™ if I run out of funds on my account?
If you run out of funds and the entire visit cannot be billed, then you will earn Convoy Points™ for the portion of the visit that was billed.
Do I earn Convoy Points™ from a visit that started during an IdleAir network interruption?
If you begin using IdleAir service during an IdleAir network interruption, you will earn Convoy Points™ for each hour that is eventually billed for that visit.
Will A-La-Carte IdleAir services provide the same number of Convoy Points™ as IdleAir Premium Service?
Depending upon their final pricing and availability, IdleAir A-La-Carte services may provide more, fewer, or the same number of Convoy Points™ per hour of use. Do my Convoy Points™ expire?
By earning Convoy Points™ or redeeming Convoy Points™, your Convoy Points™ balance remains active. If your balance is inactive for 12 months, your points balance will automatically expire. If at any time you earn more Convoy Points™ or redeem Convoy Points™, your account is re-activated and no points will expire for another 12 months.
Part 3: Checking Your Convoy Points™ Balance
How many Convoy Points™ do I have?
All IdleAir customers can access their Convoy Points™ balance online by logging in to the IdleAir Account Portal at https://accounts.idleair.com.
Where do I login to see my Convoy Points™?
All IdleAir customers can access their Convoy Points™ balance online by logging in to the IdleAir Account Portal at https://accounts.idleair.com. Customers accessing the Account Portal for the first time can follow on-screen instructions for creating a username and password.
What is the IdleAir Account Portal?
The Account Portal is the new self-service, online account access for IdleAir customers. By logging into the Account Portal at https://accounts.idleair.com, you can become a VIP member, check the balance on your member account, print IdleAir receipts, check your Convoy Points™ balance, and redeem your Convoy Points™ for other products and services.
When are my Convoy Points™ added to my balance?
It can take up to 72 hours for your Convoy Points™ to appear in your balance. The 72 hours allows time for billing adjustments, refunds, and other changes that might affect the number of Convoy Points™ earned. Convoy Points™ earned from customer referrals can take up to 90 days to appear in your Convoy Points™ balance.
How much is a Convoy Point™ worth?
One Convoy Point™ has a redemption value of $0.01 toward Driver Rewards products and services. Convoy Points™ do not have a cash value.
Part 4: Redeeming Convoy Points™
How do I redeem my Convoy Points™?
First, make sure you’re an IdleAir VIP member by providing your phone number and email address. You can always become a VIP through the Account Portal, or by contacting Customer Support at (877) 738-7024 or by sending an email to info@IdleAir.com. Customers redeem their Convoy Points™ through the online Account Portal at https://accounts.idleair.com.
Can I redeem my Convoy Points™ for cash?
No, Convoy Points™ cannot be redeemed for cash.
What is the Convoy Store?
The Convoy Store is the online store for redeeming your Convoy Points™ for products and services. The Convoy Store is accessed through the online Account Portal at https://accounts.idleair.com. Convoy Points™ can only be redeemed for items in the Convoy Store.
What can I get with my Convoy Points™?
IdleAir is developing a wide selection of complementary products and services for the Convoy Store. These include IdleAir products and services, as well as a growing selection of products and services from IdleAir Rewards Partners. Partner products and services include fuel efficiency and aerodynamic products, professional driver health and wellness products, and even 501c3 charitable donations. IdleAir is working with our travel center partners so IdleAir VIP customers can redeem Convoy Points™ for travel center goods and services.
Can I combine my Convoy Points™ with my travel center rewards points?
At this time, no, you cannot combine Convoy Points™ with any other travel center rewards points. However, IdleAir is working with our travel center partners so IdleAir VIP customers can redeem Convoy Points™ for travel center goods and services.
Can I use my Convoy Points™ for IdleAir products and services?
Yes! IdleAir VIP customers can redeem their Convoy Points™ for all IdleAir products and services. For example, company drivers using IdleAir because their company pays for it will earn Convoy Points™, which the company drivers can redeem for IdleAir Broadband upgrades. VIP customers should login to the IdleAir Account Portal at https://accounts.idleair.com to redeem Convoy Points™ for IdleAir products and services.
Can I donate my Convoy Points™ to charity?
Yes! IdleAir will provide a pre-approved list of registered 501c3 charities and non-profit organizations to which VIP customers can donate the redemption value of their Convoy Points™. The donation will be made in the customer’s name.
What if my charity is not on the list?
If you would like to donate to a charity not currently on the list, please send a request to info@IdleAir.com or call Customer Support at (877) 738-7024. IdleAir will do our best to add requested charities to the list of pre-approved charities, but we do not guarantee that we will be able to donate Convoy Points™ to every charity.
Part 5: The Benefits of IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards and Convoy Points™
How do Company Drivers benefit from the IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards Program?
Company drivers can ask their companies to pay for IdleAir. Companies that pay for IdleAir often offer it for free to their company drivers. The IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards Program is a great reason for company drivers to try IdleAir and earn rewards toward a service for which their company is already paying. IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards make it even easier to choose IdleAir.
How do owner-operators benefit from the IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards Program?
The IdleAir VIP Driver Rewards Program offers the greatest savings and value for all IdleAir services. Owner-operators can maximize their savings by redeeming Convoy Points™ for hours of Premium Service from IdleAir. Additionally, owner-operators will be able to redeem their Convoy Points™ for other complementary products that bring additional savings through improved fuel efficiency and aerodynamics.
